A gallery visit becomes a different experience when you have to choose one work to remember. The Best of PAG juried exhibition is on view at Parker’s Schoolhouse through November 12, 2026, and visitors can take part in the People’s Choice vote through that date.
Parker Arts lists the show as free and suitable for all ages at 19650 East Mainstreet. The exhibition includes several media, from painting and drawing to photography, ceramics and sculpture. Its November 12 reception is scheduled for 6:30 to 8 p.m., when the People’s Choice winner will be announced. Check current gallery access before making a special trip.

Try one lap without deciding anything. On a second pass, return to a piece that held your attention and ask what created that response: a material, a color relationship, a familiar subject or something difficult to name. Looking slowly gives a personal preference more substance than a quick glance across the room.
If you visit with someone else, compare choices before trying to agree. Different favorites can make a useful conversation about what each viewer noticed. Read the labels and follow the exhibition’s voting instructions; the accompanying illustrative image shows neither the displayed artwork nor the actual gallery installation.
